Happy First Fourth of July

Emme will be born in 1 year, 10 months, and 4 days!

For my first celebrate of America’s independence, I went to St Augustine to stay with Aunt Mikki and Uncle Shawn. We had dinner with some of their friends and then we watched the fireworks! Except I didn’t get to see any. Even though we were less than ¼ of a mile from where they were going off, I slept the whole time. Mikki’s dogs were afraid of the noise. In fact, I only twitched a muscle after they stopped.
I agree. Next year you would be able to stay awake and watch the fireworks from Uncle Shawn and Aunt Mikki’s front yard.
Those could have been the best fireworks I ever saw! I guess I will have to go visit my aunt and uncle next 4th.
